"The Fabulous Beekman Boys" Love This Show !

Love this show! They have a farm and milk goats. Can you believe it ? The milk from the goats are then used to make cheese and soap. They are organic farmers , I believe.  I love the idea of going for something you love to do.Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcel are trying the farm out. Brent used to work fro Martha Stewart, so you will see her on their show.Brent lives on the farm during the week and josh comes home from NY,where he's a architect. You just have to see it.

American Pickers AKA Junk Buyers !

I found this show, while I was surfing the T.V., one night. I instantly fell in love! I would gladly quit my job and do this for a living. I sell stuff on ebay, but no where else. I go to garage sales, Goodwill, Salvation Army, flea markets,or side of the road stuff. I just love both of them ! Go to History Channel's Website and watch some of the clips. You will fall in love. Hey they shop for junk all over the USA!
Click here to find out more!

This isn't your grandmother's antiquing. Pickers like Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are on a mission to recycle America, even if it means diving into countless piles of grimy junk or getting chased off a gun-wielding homeowner's land. Hitting back roads from coast to coast, the two men earn a living by restoring forgotten relics to their former glory, transforming one person's trash into another's treasure. American Pickers follows them as they scour the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns, meeting quirky characters and hearing their amazing stories. If you think the antique business is all about upscale boutiques and buttoned-up dealers, this show may change your mind--and teach you a thing or two about American history along the way.

New to blogging!

I am new to blogging, so please be kind. I have wanted to blog for a while now,but didn't think I had the time. I met a very nice lady at a estate sale, who clued me in. I saw her blog and the people she followed and was hooked. I love all the influences there are for home decor. It makes me want to quit my job and stay home, to design. I can't any time soon, oh well.
